Practical Pedometer Course and 2 mile walk

On Sunday, August 29 participants were lead through the historic sites and main attractions of Washington, DC on a 2-mile walk. The session also featured a brief discussion on the practical applications of recently published research regarding how to choose and use pedometers, and most importantly, tips on the creative use of pedometers in primary and secondary prevention settings.
The first 30 registrants received the Accusplit Eagle 2720 (step-filtered long-term memory) pedometer.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Foundation of the NLA. Special thanks to Accusplit for donating the pedometers. Special thanks to Genzyme for supporting this event.
